David Proud
Chairman

David has over 20 years of executive experience working within Fidelity Insurance and HSBC. He has run, reshaped and led major businesses in the UK and the Middle and Far East. He has practical experience in acquisitions, mergers, operational and change management.

Tim Stratton
Chief Executive

A pioneer in the electronic funds transfer industry, Tim has over 20 years of experience in development, operations, consultancy and management. He founded Retail Logic in 1992 and led it to become the clear leader in UK merchant EFT systems market during the 13 years he was there. Tim personally designed and led the development of the card authorisation and settlement systems used by many of the UK’s leading retailers.

John Rozek
Director

John has over 16 years of experience working at the forefront of the payments industry. Working with Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest, John led an industry leading cross-border implementation and ATM service delivery programme. He also led the team that introduced Chip and PIN to over 120,000 points of sale across UK. John was one of the founding members of Polar Moment and has played a key role in developing the organisation to become a leading provider of payments consultancy. He is a recognised name across the sector, delivering payment industry consultancy and business development services.

Christopher Dawes
Chief Technology Officer

Christopher is Polar Moment’s Chief Technical Officer and leads the company’s Technical Services team. He has extensive experience in delivering major payment systems and gateways for tier 1 retailers and payment processors. Christopher is an expert in international and cross-border payments, playing a pivotal role in a ground-breaking, pan-European Customer Present, Chip and PIN installation. Separately, he managed the implementation of a complex, multi-retailer, pan Nordic system on behalf of a leading payment processor. Christopher has also managed software developments for leading payment software vendors.
