John Rozek chaired the panel discussion at the RBTE on the future of Omni-channel retailing today. The panel members were Louise Cowan from River Island, Andrew Quartermaine from ACI and Mark Beresford from Edgar Dunn.

The panel concluded that omni-channel is just a phrase. The aim is to give the consumer the opportunity shop in the way they chose to shop. This is dependent on good customer insight. The sales and payment process needs to be frictionless and secure across all channels. Offers need to be relevant. We are getting to the point where retailers can start to consider pan-European solutions.
